  9.                 ICOM to charge for subsequent repairs to the

  17.  Subject:       Some Micro 4ATs go into PLL unlock (indicated by
  18.                 "U" on the display) during transmit at high power
  19.                 using the supplied antenna.  Other radios will NOT
  20.                 unlock but will have severe noise on the transmit
  21.                 audio.

  23.  Information:   The problem is caused by RF energy causing bad
  24.                 data in the PLL system and RF overload in the VCO
  25.                 circuit.
